The major function and goal of the job are to operationalize, coordinate the patient check-in/out process, and troubleshoot problems with referring agencies and Community Behavioral Health Staff members.
The Welcome Center / Front Office reception's primary goal is to facilitate smooth and efficient patient care while maintaining safety and privacy for the client, family members, and the referring agencies.
The position requires working knowledge of basic computer skills, interest, and motivation in learning various aspects of the function of electronic medical records (EMR), including troubleshooting and being a liaison to facilitate the use of EMR by clinicians.
This position requires skills such as general typing, clerical assignments, medical records coordination duties, and the operation of standard office equipment.
Strict confidentiality must be maintained at all times on-site and off-site for all aspects of CBH and its patients and clients.
